Can kids do Xplor or Xplor Fuego?

Both official admission pages list a minimum age of five, with separate activity height and weight requirements. A park ticket does not override those requirements. Our four-year-old received a helmet at the entrance but was then turned away at the activities.

Is dinner included at Xplor Fuego?

Yes. The official Fuego admission page lists a BBQ ribs buffet with vegetarian options and unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, checked October 5, 2026.

What days is Xplor closed?

The day admission page lists Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Fuego admission pages currently list Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 5:30 to 11 p.m. Thursday and Sunday are absent from that published Fuego schedule. Check availability for your visit date; this is not a permanent-closure claim.

Q: What is the difference between Xplor and Xplor Fuego?

Xplor is the daytime visit with two zipline circuits and buffet lunch. Fuego is the evening visit with one circuit and a BBQ buffet dinner, per their official admission pages. Both list vehicles, rivers, rafts, Hammock Splash and Toboganxote. We visited by day; we have not visited Fuego.

Q: Is Xplor Fuego worth it?

Our recommendation from the official listings: choose Fuego if evening hours, torchlit ziplines and dinner matter more to you than a second zipline circuit. We have not visited Fuego ourselves. Compare your visit-date prices before booking; the July 2026 prices below are historical.

Honesty first: we did Xplor by day and had Fuego planned, and then a day of being split up made a family dinner sound better than a second adventure, so my wife and teenager came home instead. The English and Spanish Fuego admission pages currently omit Thursday and Sunday from the published Fuego schedule. That does not establish a permanent Thursday closure. Check your visit date's availability before arranging the rest of your evening.

What the day park is like (the part we lived)

Xplor by day is a genuine physical undertaking. My wife, who is in excellent shape, came back warning about the volume of walking and stairs, and our 14-year-old nearly tapped out more than once. It's also genuinely the teen's favorite day of the trip in hindsight, which is the whole Xplor trade in one sentence. Is Xplor Fuego worth it?

Our recommendation from the listings: pick Fuego if you want an evening outing with dinner and would trade the second zipline circuit for the night setting. Pick day Xplor if both circuits and a daytime visit matter more. That is a planning recommendation, not a first-hand Fuego review.

The park's own Fuego zipline page describes torches and a ring of fire. We have not experienced that setting ourselves.

The official Fuego activities page now explicitly lists Underground Expedition as included, from 5:30 to 10:45 p.m. The same listing gives Toboganxote an earlier finish at 10:15 p.m., so do not assume every activity runs until the park's 11 p.m. closing time.

The height rules, exactly (learn from our mistake)

The official day and Fuego admission pages publish these minimums. The Fuego zipline rules also require a proper harness fit:

Park admission: age 5 minimum, kids accompanied by an adult, ID required.
Ziplines: 3.6 ft (1.10 m) minimum height, 88 lb minimum weight, 300 lb maximum.
Amphibious vehicles: 3.6 ft to ride; the official FAQ requires an adult driver with a driving license.
Rafts and Stalactite River swim: 3.3 ft (1 m) minimum; swimmers only.
Toboganxote waterslide: 4.2 ft (1.30 m) minimum.

The admission pages require water shoes for activities. Check the full restrictions as well as age and height before choosing a session.

Now the experience half: our four-year-old, below the published minimum age, was measured at the entrance, issued a helmet, and told there were activities she could do. There weren't. Two rejections and a re-measurement later, we split the family for the day. The published numbers were right and the entrance was wrong, so plan from this list, not from the welcome desk.
